How many
Oracle-related websites do you browse everyday?
How many times
have you wanted to run a query from an online article
or a website and quickly see its output?
Here is the tool
that will help you do exactly that.
If you can select a query on
your browser, you can run it with a rightclick immediately.
It
is not just for online web queries though.
You can also run
queries from scripts on your hard disk by first opening txt, sql or
similar ascii script files with your browser, selecting the
query and right-clicking the SqlhtmClipRunRightClick menu item.
Steps to install SqlhtmClipRunRightClick
to your IE8 rightclick menu
- Download ClipRunRightClick.zip.
- Extract the zip file to a temporary
directory.
- Double click on the
ClipRunRightClick-install.bat.This copies the files to their
locations and also creates a registry entry. Change the
connect string in the
C:\Sqlhtm\Crrc\ClipRunRightClick.bat file at the end of the
install to connect to the correct database as the correct
user.
- Now, open an oracle query page on the
internet or open your oracle script file with a NEW IE8
browser window.
- Mark the query to run, right click
and select SqlhtmClipRunRightClick to run the query and see its
output at once.
To
uninstall double click on the
ClipRunRightClick-uninstall.bat.
As with any powerful tool,
use caution to connect to the correct database and run the correct
queries.
