  2. Click on sample 7 from the samples row and press Slide button in the row just above to create a slide and save slide code with SldCode button if you like. Click TenMorePop button to see ten more versions. Every click gives you 10 more fresh new designs! Don't forget to save code if you like, from the top left textarea box in the TenMorePop window.
  3. Click on sample 7 and then press FN2, FN3 or FN1 buttons repeatedly for more random versions of the same design. Also click on the EB, EC, EF and EG buttons.
  4. Click on sample A, change input text in the 4 yellow text boxes at top left, press Run to create design, size lines with font-size, position and size lines with the 4 paddings and press the buttons above.  Features
  • Create Html 3d headers, banners, posters, greeting cards, slides and any wordart design you can imagine.
  • Use the power-packed RGE[Random Generator Engine] built into 8 buttons [EB,EC,EF,EG, FN1,FN2,FN3 and TenMorePop] that you press repeatedly to combine 13 design parameters and generate a new design for every click. Always unstoppable, and awesome when they get going!
  • Create slides for any design when you press a button.
  • Use the  HtmlEdit button to open the simple but powerful HTML EDITOR that you can use as a WYSIWYG editor by manually changing the html! Primarily meant for changing the code generated by the Code, SldCode buttons and the GetSource area of the TenMorePop window and viewing the changes by pressing the Run button, it can also be used to paste complete html files to view them, after making sure that the css and js files are in correct locations.
  • Use the SldCode button to create the code for the slides.
  • Use the horizontal and vertical "Best Guess" rulers as a help in measuring your designs to scale. It is as close to real-life ruler as possible, just not movable right now.
  • Use the arrow keys to cut-down your design-creation time. Click twice on any select box, and go up or down while at the same time viewing changes to your design in real-time!
  • Use the samples as a starting point, change text, move the arrow keys around in the select boxes, and click the E, FN, TenMorePop buttons to come up with designs quickly.
  • Add spice to your slides and designs with SF1,SF2,SF3 and SF4 symbol font buttons. Don't forget to view the complete fontset in a HTML file with KBCharset button especially to see what symbol font images these SF fonts will display.

You Can Work Online Or Offline!

You can use F3dT offline too! Those who cannot stay online all the time need to connect and create a design once, then they can stay offline and continue. If you clear your cache you may need to repeat this. Just remember to save the readme before disconnecting.

REQUIREMENTS
Chrome[15.0.874.121 m] on an XP pc/laptop.

USING F3DT
Come up with 4 short lines with the fewest words that best describe your content. Reduce one or two of the lines to one or two words, make them bigger, size and position the 4 lines with the 4 padding parameters and  press the TenMorePop , the 4 E buttons, the 3 FN buttons. Try changing things a little and repeat the above.  I guarantee that you would leave the program with a nice-looking wordArt image or a bunch of code.

TWO GREAT WAYS TO USE F3DT

Make An Image[PrintScreen]
Enter text and press Run to start. Use UP&DOWN arrows to make changes using select menu options. Press the Run button after changing text. Press the E, FN or TenMorePop buttons to generate and view random designs, and if you like the design, press the PRINTSCREEN button to copy, then paste it to an image program[eg. the versatile Irfanview], crop, resize[IrfanView's SaveForWeb plugin] and save it in a format of your choice.

f3dt-cpl.gifCopy Code
Press the CODE button, select all, copy and paste it at the required place in your web page, change the font-name, font-size or any of the other parameters if needed.

F3DT IS KEY-FRIENDLY!
Font3dRandom is mouse-friendly but Font3dTemplates is that and key-friendly too!  Use the up and down arrow keys to zip through the list of options in each select menu and view the change at once!

FONTS
Font3dTemplates has a static set of standard fonts, mostly XP default. This version does not read installed XP fonts on your PC [as opposed to MyFontYourFont- Font set Viewer which reads them] so you may not see all installed fonts in the font lists. If you have FamousFolks installed on your PC, you will see it though.[This font shows the faces of some famous folks when you press the alphabet capitals [A-Z]. The small letters are regular English so you could have a face at the beginning of every word if you capitalize the first letter of every word in the sentence![Happy Birth Day has three faces for H,B&D]. Keep line-size at 1%.

f3dt-cpl.gif NOTE - Run BUTTON

2.Press a sample [A-J, 1-7] and press Run to enable editing.  Actually, most of the time, you can live without this button, by using the four arrow keys in the 13 select boxes which respond to every keystroke.

f3dt-cpl.gif NOTE - FN1, FN2, FN3  BUTTONS-Never Stop Clicking!
Click on these RDGs[Random Design Generators] any time, every time, all the time and they will always come up with a fresh new version of a sample or your creation without tiring. These 3 buttons use random functions to combine all the 13 parameters in different ways to produce random designs at the touch of a button. On a lucky day, every click will give you unbelievably perfect randoms so keep clicking! Before clicking on any of these three buttons, please remember to reduce the font-size and also use the paddings generously so you can see all lines within the design window.

FN1: [Go totally crazy with fonts and colors]
Different fonts for every line
Different colors for font-faces
Different colors for mid and rear shadows

FN2: [Very solemn and disciplined]
Same fonts for every line
Same colors for font-faces
Same colors for mid and rear shadows

FN3: [Judicious mix of playful and serious design-making]
Same fonts for every line
Different colors for font-faces
Different colors for mid and rear shadows

f3dt-cpl.gif NOTE - FN1, FN2,FN3  BUTTONS & FONT-FACE COLOR
You  might notice that the some of the font-face colors match the background color  so you can't see them easily. If you like the design, click and choose another font-face color. If you don't, just click on those buttons one more time to get a totally new design.

f3dt-cpl.gif NOTE - DESIGN WINDOW SIZE
Most of the time, use of font-size, padding-top, padding-bottom, padding-left and  padding-right parameters to control the size of your design window is more flexible and more intuitive than using the BoxWdth and the BoxHgt select boxes . I used set sizes for the box width and height and squeezed the words in for creating a set of bookmarks though.

f3dt-cpl.gif NOTE - DASH CHAR AND OTHER ANNOYANCES

  • Leave a space after the DASH[-] character [eg. padding- top] when you input text in the 4 yellow boxes.
  • Save code for a good-looking design before pressing the TenMorePop button which replaces the last design with the last one from its own window.
  • Press the Home button if any button is unresponsive to one or more clicks and continue.
  • F3dT achieves 3d effect by stacking three layers of text with different shadows one on top of the other. Due to size and other parameters, very rarely, lines may look distorted at very low font-sizes [eg. 5pt]. This is normal. To get around this, choose a  larger font-size, a different font, or pack more letters till the line looks good.
