Or, you have this adhoc sql query to run and make
a neatly formatted htm report quickly. All you need to do is
copy it , press Ctrl-Alt-C to save it, and, press
Ctrl-Alt-V to see a colorful htm-formatted output. It is not
just for little select statements though. You can have any number of
queries.
Here are the 4 steps to do the
one-time configuration, after which, it would be just 4 keypresses
anytime.[ORIGINAL
FOURKEY].You could run clipboard sql scripts from the pc or the
web or from anywhere else and generate htm reports in seconds!
STEP
1: Download the FourKey.zip
file and unzip to a temp dir.
STEP 2: Double-click on the FourKey_Install.bat
file to copy files and change the connect string.
On your
desktop, rightclick on the shortcut to Adhoc_Edit.bat, select
PROPERTIES, press CTRL-ALT-C [pressing C is eqivalent to this] in
the SHORTCUT KEY field, and select MINIMIZED in the RUN filed and
Click OK.
RightClick on the shortcut to Adhoc_Run.bat, select
PROPERTIES, press CTRL-ALT-V[pressing V is eqivalent to this] in the
SHORTCUT KEY field, and select MINIMIZED in the RUN filed and Click
OK.
STEP 3: Press Ctrl+Alt+C to start
Adhoc_Edit.bat and enter your select query, save and
exit.
STEP 4: Press Ctrl+Alt+V to see a great htm
output!
If you find pressing Ctrl-Alt-C and Ctrl-Alt-V
unresponsive after install, log out and try
again.
