A.The 8 Top tools

For top tools, visit
BqrMultiDb,  
BrowserQueryRunner,
TpqcHtm1000,
TpqcPhp1003,
MakeHtm,
ClipRunRightClick,
FourKey and
RightClick.

Download and unzip the zip files to a temporary directory[Eg. C:\SqlhtmWork\Bqr1001, C:\SqlhtmWork\TpqcHtm1000 etc], [note that BqrMultiDB and Bqr1001 are the same]  and run the install scripts.
These create the root directory C:\Sqlhtm and individual directories for every tool[Eg. C:\Sqlhtm\Bqr1001].
They also create shortcuts to these tools from the startmenu under the program group sqlhtm[Eg. Start-AllPrograms-Sqlhtm-Bqr1001].

B.Other scripts

Copy/paste the scripts to your pc. For now, they use c:\  as the location for temporary and output files but will be redone very soon.

2.Complete Collection I

Click to download TopToolsDownload10.zip at the end of the paypal transaction.
Create the directory C:\SqlhtmWork, move TopToolsDownload10.zip to this directory and unzip the contents into TopToolsDownload10.
This creates three directories
C:\SqlhtmWork\TopToolsDownload10\SqlhtmTopTools,
C:\SqlhtmWork\TopToolsDownload10\SqlhtmEbook and
C:\SqlhtmWork\TopToolsDownload10\SqlhtmScripts.

From C:\SqlhtmWork\TopToolsDownload10\SqlhtmTopTools, run the installers for each tool [Eg. BrowserQueryRunner.install.bat for BqrMultiDb] from their directories [Eg.C:\SqlhtmWork\TopToolsDownload10\SqlhtmTopTools\Bqr1001].
These create tool directories under C:\Sqlhtm  [Eg. C:\Sqlhtm\Bqr1001], some of them registry entries and  start menu items [Eg.Start-All Programs-Sqlhtm-Bqr1001].

B.Sqlhtm Ebook [Needs internet connection]

Double-click on the C:\SqlhtmWork\TopToolsDownload10\SqlhtmEbook\SqlhtmEbookMain.hta to read the tools and scripts web pages from the sqlhtm.com site on the internet..

You can edit the 20 templates from  C:\SqlhtmWork\TopToolsDownload30\20_New_Html_Web_Templates_With_Free_Wysiwyg_Html_Editor
with the really cool accompanying html editor and use them for your needs

File Install Locations

You can unzip the downloaded zip files anywhere on your pc but it is a good idea to unzip them under the root directory C:\SqlhtmWork and keep them there so you can run the uninstallers from here later on if you choose to.
Remember that all sqlhtm tools are installed under the root directory C:\Sqlhtm [Eg.C:\Sqlhtm\Bqr1001] and that makes it even cleaner and easier to keep the work and tool directories together! Thanks for using the Sqlhtm tools and scripts!

Sqlhtm Top Tools & Scripts - Things To Remember

1.Remember to comment out spool commands in the queries
2.Make sure the queries end with a / or ;
3.Remove stray cmd.exe, sqlplus.exe and mshta.exe processes from the task manager
4.If there is a problem. Try logging out and re-logging if needed
5.Un-install and re-install the tools any time as needed.They have been thoroughly tested on XP. Please report any bugs to sqlhtm@sqlhtm.com
